S212--Fuel Testing and Polishing Emergency Generators

The purpose of this contract is to establish a Main and Day Tank polishing contract for the West Haven and Newington VA Medical Centers Emergency Generators. A contract shall be awarded for a base year (12 Months) with four (4) potential annual option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Vendor shall provide one annual fuel tank service per year per tank to occur between the months of May and June unless otherwise specified by the VA test and polish Main and Day Tanks on Facility Diesel Emergency Generators. The VA reserves the right to add Wet and Day tanks to the performance work statement to accommodate new tanks coming online. Any additional tanks shall be quoted separately and added to the contract if deemed necessary by the contracting officer.
