Description | Countryside and Concord Elementary Schools Additions and Renovations 1. The overall project consists: Countryside ES: The work includes the construction of four separate additions (totaling 23,000SF) with one of the additions being constructed as a storm shelter space. The additions will be designed for classrooms, special education spaces, and a multipurpose room to support the Spanish Immersion Program. The exterior will include the reconstruction of the parking lots along with other exterior site improvements. This is designed to improve bus and parent drop-off zones and parking areas are being modified to improve safety for students and minimize traffic impacts to the neighborhood. Concord ES: The work includes the addition of a 4,000 GSF 2-level storm shelter that will house classrooms with minor interior renovation and minor exterior improvements.
