Description

The contract work will consist of regrading, stabilizing, and re-planting approximately 840 linear feet of the stream bank with native plants at Roychester Park. Removing and relocating approximately 755 feet of existing 10” vitrified clay sewer pipe, 2 concrete manholes, approximately 90 feet of existing 8” vitrified clay sewer pipe and 1 sanitary clean out with approximately 780 feet of 10” PVC sewer pipe and 2 precast reinforced concrete manholes. The work also includes regrading, stabilizing, and re-planting approximately 1,250 linear feet of stream channel and banks at Grove Park. Removing approximately 70 linear feet of existing concrete channel and redirecting local drainage by constructing a new concrete cutoff wall. Regrading targeted areas within the forested floodplain to facilitate wetland function and provide additional habitat variability. Expanding an existing walking path with mulch or boardwalks.
