Description

Replacement of the existing HVAC equipment in the kitchen facility at the Brevard County Detention Center located at 150 Doler Way, Cocoa, FL 32927. 1. Replacement design consists of the replacement of an existing 50-ton Aaon DX unit with a new 25-ton DX split system, with an additional 40-ton outside air unit that will properly temper the air to the desired temperature and humidity, then bringing it directly into the kitchen space. 2. The contractor will receive and store the units on site in preparation of the installation in the building. 3. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing Aaon DX unit along with installing and commissioning the two new units. Work to include all associated duct work, electrical, structural, and roofing requirements per the Specifications prepared by DDC Engineering (Attachment B) and provide Brevard County Detention Center a complete and functional system. 4. Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion within one hundred twenty-six (126) days of issuance of Notice to Proceed. Final Completion within one hundred forty (140) days of issuance of Notice to Proceed. 5. Contractor shall provide a one (1) year warranty on all parts and labor at Final Completion. 6. Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring all required permits for the Project. County shall pay for said permits.
