All question concerning obtaining bid packages and supplemental information should be directed to Smolen Engineering, Ltd., 1876 State Route 46 North, Jefferson, Ohio 44047, phone: (440) 576-0505 Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting a bid and shall be accompanied by either: (1) A bond in accordance with division (B) of ORC 153.54 for the full amount of the bid; or (2) A certified check or cashiers check. The amount of the certified check or cashiers check shall be equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, as a security that he will enter into a contract should his bid be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Each bid shall be filled on forms furnished with Bid Documents and shall be delivered in a sealed envelope, the outside properly marked with Project Title, Date, and Time of Bid Opening. The Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject any and all bids.
