Description | Covers refuse and trash collection, disposal services, and landfill fees. The work required includes the furnishing of all labor, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide the required level of services. I. Requirements: Definitions 1. Refuse and Trash are defined and considered to be any debris/garbage placed into the trash container(s). 2. Construction & Warehouse Debris are defined as any items originating from construction, demolition, or warehouse operations that are placed into the container(s). This may include but not be limited to: pallet components, packaging materials, scrap metals, scrap lumber, refuse and trash, etc. 3. Recyclables are defined as any recyclable, non-hazardous items placed into the recycling collection container. Examples are, but not limited to: corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans, plastic beverage bottles, etc. II. Refuse Collection: 1. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the contents from each supplied container, at the scheduled frequency, per location. 2. Each container shall be emptied and returned to its position of origin. 3. Debris that is spilled during collection shall be swept up and removed during the immediate collection event. III. Construction & Warehouse Debris Collection: 1.
