Construction of an extended detention stormwater basin in the Indian River Creek watershed, north of Kecoughtan Road, in order to eliminate flood prone properties, increase stormwater storage volume, reduce stormwater quantity to reduce flooding potential, and provide water quality benefits to the City of Hampton.
