Description

The University of Utah is seeking a consultant team with extensive experience in higher education visioning, planning, and facility design, with a strong focus on the needs of students. Particularly, we are looking for experience in the planning and design of modern, forward-looking University Student Union facilities. The A. Ray Olpin University Union building was built in 1953, expanded in 1968, and has undergone numerous renovations in its 67-year history. While it has served the University well, the building presents numerous challenges related to the age of the structure. Additionally, it no longer meets the functional and space needs of our students, faculty and staff.
