Description | The owner has selected a Design Builder. Scope of work: This project entails providing each of the IMT closets in the IHP Building with two new column type distribution panels. One of the panels will be for Normal Power and the other will be for e-Power. Two feeders will be installed from the PDU in the penthouse down through each successive closet. The panels will tap into these feeders. The panels will have their own main service disconnect. The goal of the project is to provide each closet with the power it requires for the next ten years. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 20% MBE and 10% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
