Description

The Scope of Work for the Rec Center Parking Lot Repairs Project consists of the following: o Base Bid work includes: o Concrete walk removal and replacement o Trench drain removal and replacement o Asphalt removal with concrete installation at refuse collection point o Asphalt resurfacing o Pavement repairs o Site Restoration o Bid Alternate #1 work includes: o Curb and gutter replacement around entire island perimeter o Bid Alternate #2 work includes: o Asphalt resurfacing of the vehicle storage area FENCE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT COORDINATION OF WORK The City has a contractor under agreement to remove and replace the chain link fence along the walk north of the parking lot, which is approximately 200 LF. The paving contractor shall coordinate with and provide access for the fence contractor under the following instructions: 1. The fence contractor shall remove the chain link and posts. 2. The paving contractor shall remove the concrete walk. 3. The fence contractor shall install the new fence posts and foundations only. 4. The paving contractor shall pour the new concrete walk along the fence line. 5. The fence contractor shall install the chain link after the concrete walk has cured. o Follow the OMUTCD for maintenance of traffic, signage, safety, etc.
