Description

The work to be performed under this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the replacement of coating the existing concrete floors in the adoption and isolation kennels. The approximate square footage to coat is approximately 6,200 SF. Scope of work includes providing: 1. Fully remove existing coating from all areas of the kennel floors in holding and adoption. Mechanically profile floors to a concrete surface profile (CSP) between a 3 and 5. 2. Cut along perimeter of plastic inside of the holding cage to remove caulk and provide key cut for flooring system to be installed up to the existing cages. 3. All joints need to be treated so they do not break the coating that is being applied. 4. Apply Cementitious Urethane Slurry at a Minimum System Thickness 3/16" Nominal and Colored Broadcast Quartz to rejection (Color Salt and Pepper) to include the 4” Radial cove base along the exterior of the room with Broadcast Quartz to rejection (Color Salt and Pepper). 5. Run floor product under front of cages and into holding areas from walkways. 6. Floor product runs all the way to trench drains between the cages. Key cut into drain to allow for a flat transition into the drain. 7. Apply a polyaspartic sealer with a non-skid finish over all areas where new resinous flooring is placed.
