Description | a. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings and specified herein. b. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. c. General Description of Work: (1) Project consists of Renovation of existing high bay and office space. (2) Demolition shall consist of ceiling, wall, and door interior modifications along with exterior wall and structural frame modifications for a new overhead door. HVAC ductwork modifications along with plumbing and piping modifications. Electrical modifications of high bay lighting, installation of new electrical equipment, and associated device level work for room modifications. (3) Architectural work shall consist of relocation and installation of an existing wind tunnel along with modification of existing ceilings, walls, and doors to incorporate the required space for the wind tunnel. Installation of a new dynamometer and engine assembly room along with new welding booth areas will be included in existing high bay space. Interior finish upgrades for office and conference room areas along with wall and ceiling modifications for existing hallway areas will be included. The Contractor shall have a goal, subcontracting with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) of ten percent (10%), with a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVE) of three percent (3%); and with Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and/or Veteran Owned Business of ten percent (10%) of awarded contract price for work to be performed Questions regarding the scope of work and commercial conditions should be directed to Bradley Clay at (573) 341-4888 or bradleyclay@mst.edu Base Bid Construction Estimate: $550,000.00 Bid Alternate #1 Estimate: $30,000.00 Bid Alternate #2 Estimate: $40,000.00 Mailing cost are the responsibility of the purchaser. Neither owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda (if any) obtained from sources other than the issuing office. All Contract Documents must be obtained by the Bidder from ADS to be an Eligible Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids. |
