Completion of Water Main Bypass Project

Construction of a new Track and Field complex immediately east of our current location where our old dirt/rock track once stood. As part of this project, a water bypass line had to be built. The school district has now completed about 75-85 percent of this project, but now finds itself in need of a qualified contractor to complete the remainder of the contract. The completed water bypass line runs on school property from a point roughly from where Hall Street meets Peak Street. It then runs South on school property to where Hall Street meets Field Street. At that point, it runs West on school property to where Field Street meets Guion Avenue. That is the part of the project that has been completed. The remainder of the project would be to complete the remaining part of the water by-pass project by taking the project from the school property site in the southeast corner of Field Street and Guion and connect the water lines into the existing City of Paint Rock water line located on the Northwest corner of Guion and Peak Street. We estimate that this distance to be about 225 feet. We would also need the contractor to be able to connect the three fire hydrants on this project; conduct and pass the required city, local and state requirements.
