Description | The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the North Troy Port Hardening Project located in North Troy, Vermont. The contactor will be responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary as outlined below: The scope of work includes automated drop arm barriers and manual closure gates installed to provide better traffic control and pedestrian safety. The project will install up to four automated drop arm barriers on the inbound and outbound lanes (depending on bid options awarded), 2 video cameras to monitor the gates, approximately 165 feet of Vermont Department of Transportation compliant guardrail, one manual lane closure gate, and a 2-leaf manual road closure gate (full road width). The automated drop arm barriers will have inductive loops imbedded in the roadway, various power and control circuits, and protective bollards. The work will also include installation of miscellaneous signage and relocation of existing moveable barriers. This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The solicitation will be released on June 30th, 2022, with a proposal due date of August 1st, 2022 at 2:00 PM EST. RFI'S are due on July 15th at 2:00 PM EST. Technical documents will be available by requesting access to the documents on SAM.GOV. When requesting documents, please ensure to include the UEI number. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
