Sidewalk Construction (Citywide)

Sidewalk Construction - Citywide The work will generally consist of, but may not be limited to: o Removal and replacement of sidewalk, curb, and various sidewalk appurtenances o Clearing and grubbing, including removal and disposal of all material generated o Grade work, including grading of slopes and relocation of swales and ditches o Root pruning and installation of root barriers as required o Tree removals o Incidental repair or "capping" of irrigation sprinkler systems o Construction and/or restoration of ADA compliant sidewalk ramps o Incidental removal and replacement of asphalt and other roadway components o Installation of metal handrail, sidewalk bell footers, and retaining walls o Installation of drainage pipe and appurtenances o Installation of driveway pavers and architectural sidewalk pavers o Utility coordination and minor utility work incidental to the construction o Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) incidental to the construction o Installation of sod o Complete restoration of construction sites o Response to Citizen concerns and questions about construction o Secure necessary paperwork to access private property when needed o Property stake (property line) identification o Distribution of door hangers at homes at the site of sidewalk construction o Minimal site surveying Questions are to be e-mailed to ContractAdministration@tampagov.net.
