Description

As of March 21, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 3, 2023. he proposal shall be sealed and clearly marked with the name of the bidder and: City of Robstown Utility Systems Demolition of Power Plant at 100 Power Plant Road Robstown, Texas (Re-Bid) Major items of work include the following: The demolition of approximately 13,900 SF of building structure consisting primarily of masonry and structure steel members with some areas containing metal roof, but the majority being of convention built-up gravel roof; disposal of construction material and debris; provide security and public safety during construction; perform restoration of the site so as to remove any potential hazards caused by the demolition work; make repairs to public right-of-way amenities (roads, utilities, ditches, drainage structures, etc.) caused by the work; all labor, material, supervision, equipment, tools, services and all incidentals required to perform and complete the work. All construction debris will be hauled off and disposed of properly. May retain all salvage material associated with this project and dispose of properly. Proposal will not include demolition of any other structures, utility disconnects or capping, permits, concrete slab, Asbestos Abatement, disposal of hazardous waste (oil, paints, etc.) and any reconstruction. Will perform all work in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Proposal will include all bonding, insurance, labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform the job at 100 Power Plant Road, Robstown, TX 78380. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin.
