Description | The Work is located in Newark, Ohio along Granville Street, Locust Street, 4th Street, and National Drive to the combined sewer overflow (CSO) structures 1014A/1014B near the South Fork Licking River. The Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to separating combined sewers, consolidating and replacing water lines, replacing streets and sidewalks, and adding green infrastructure and pedestrian-friendly features. The Work includes construction of two parallel, gravity sewers ranging in diameter from 15-inches to 42-inches, including approximately 8,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 13,000 linear feet of storm sewer, and all associated manholes, curb inlets, and appurtenances by open-cut and trenchless installation methods. The Work also includes the installation of 8,000 linear feet of 12-inch diameter potable water piping, including all associated valves, hydrants, and appurtenances, and 6,500 linear feet of streets, including curbs, sidewalks and accessories, lighting, traffic control devices, and associated components as specified in these contract documents, and all other work required to complete the Work. |
