Chillicothe WWTP Improvements

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Chillicothe Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements The Project includes the following Work: Improvements to the Headworks including expansion, pumping, and screening; replacement of grit removal system; new secondary pumping station; new aeration tanks, blowers, clarifier, and splitter structure; replacement of RAS, WAS, and scum pumps; installation of UV disinfection and effluent pumping; updates to digester equipment; installation of dewatering equipment; laboratory renovations; site improvements; and yard piping. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination in accordance with the provisions of the Davis Bacon Act. Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity as amended. The City of Chillicothe reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 110 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Work will be substantially complete within 1,096 calendar days; Final completion- 1,156 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Addendum #1-#7 have been issued as of 10-18-2022.
