City High School Phase 3 Remodel

Remodel a portion of the existing cafeteria and kitchen at City High School to convert to Career Technology spaces Remodel existing classrooms on the third floor to convert one classroom from family & consumer science to a general use class room and convert two general use class rooms to science lab and classroom Replace various HVAC system components through out the school for the purpose of switching from gas heat to geothermal sourced systems Under bid alternates replace windows and flooring in various areas of the school. The onsite construction work may commence on or around June19,2023, shall be substantially complete by August 9,2024. The Owner reserves the right to waive in formalities or irregularities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder is required to accompany the Bid with a Bid security, in a separate sealed envelope ,as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work bid upon and will furnish, after the award of the contract, corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the Owner,for the faithful performance of the contract in an amount equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The Bidder's security is five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and is required to be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank
