Description | The principal components of work include removing 25.8-miles of overhead ground wire on the East side of the Stegall–Wayside 230-kV transmission line; furnishing, installing 25.8-miles of 48-fiber Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), installing 0.3-miles of All Dielectric Self Supporting (ADSS) cable, to construct a fiber path from Stegall-Wayside lattice structure 105/4 to Black Hills Energy (BHE) Crawford Fiber Repeater Site on two (2) single wood poles and attaching to existing Northwest Rural Public Power District (NRPPD) Crow Butte Distribution Line poles and installing conduit and fiber optic cable in the Wayside Substation and Crawford Fiber Repeater Site Building, terminating the fiber and testing the completed fiber optic installation. |
