Description

The vision of the Water Resources Department is to assure sufficient and sustainable water supplies are available to meet current and future needs. The Department's mission is to serve the public by practicing and promoting responsible water management through two key goals: To directly address Oregon's water supply needs and to restore and protect streamflows and watersheds in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of Oregon's ecosystems, economy, and quality of life. The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Oregon Water Resources Department, ("Agency"), is issuing this Request for Proposal under the provisions of ORS 279B.060 for Down Hole Cameras for use in inspecting water wells. The cameras must have the following qualities that are similar or higher to the cameras currently in use by the Department: - Portable, self-contained unit is ideal for viewing in wells. - Suitable for use in shafts as narrow as 1" diameter. - Have a durable and resistant lens - Monitor must be readable and designed to handle all weather conditions - Must have recording capabilities with clarity and great audio fidelity - Must have durable and interchangeable tape. Tape must be replaceable. - Compact power system (rechargeable batteries, long charging cable - Compact carrying / storage case. Oregon Water resources Department is looking to augment its inventory of Down Hole Cameras for use in inspecting water wells. This RFP invites suppliers of Cameras to submit proposals for the supply of cameras to add to it fleet of cameras for use by Department well inspectors.
