| Description | This work shall consist of all labor, material, and equipment to reconnect the rehabilitated pipe to the existing pipe with 10” Ductile Iron restrained joint water main within the access pit. This cost shall include a 10”x 6” tee to install a fire hydrant within the footage. Work shall include but is not limited to: 4 inch bedding, haunching, and compaction with excavated material (if applicable), deflections over/under conflicts, installing fittings during course of installation, polyethylene wrapping of all pipe, valves, and fittings during course of installation, utilizing a restraining joint system for various lengths, thrust blocking, chlorination of pipe/fittings by swabbing. |
