Description

The Mehdi Heravi Global Teaching and Learning Center will consist of a new 38,429 GSF building which will house the following programs: 1. Foreign Language units from the Department of Languages, Philosophy, and Communication Studies (Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, and Russian), including teaching labs, language labs, a testing center, faculty and staff offices, grad student offices and administration space. 2. Intensive English Language Institute (IELI). This program helps international students, scholars and professionals develop linguistic and academic skills and intercultural competence. The spaces will consist of a teaching open lab and faculty offices. 3. English Department, Computer and Teaching Labs 4. Multipurpose room 5. Student study and tutoring spaces
