Description | The Orange County Sanitation District (Oc San) Invites Qualified Bidders to Submit Bids for the Control Center Offices and Day Training Room Remodeling at Plant No. 1 Project. The Project will renovate existing office spaces in the Plant 1 Control Center Building. Renovation will occur in two different office areas located on the first floor of the building, which is the Operations Supervisor Office area and Day Training Room. The renovation includes interior demolition of non-load bearing interior partitions and workstations, creation of new partitions, installation of new workstations, HVAC, floor tiles, acoustical ceiling tiles, lighting, receptacles and data outlets, wall paint, and office furniture Bid Bond: 10.00% Payment Bond: 100.00% Performance Bond: 100.00% A Bid Security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Amount of Bid will be required with each Bid and no Bid will be considered without it. The Bid Security may be in the form of cash, a cashier's or certified check payable to OC SAN, or a Surety Bond issued by a qualified corporate Surety licensed to do business in California and must be submitted using the form included in the Bid Submittal Forms. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract value are required concurrently with the execution of the Contract and shall remain in effect through the warranty period. Bidder acknowledges that OC SAN has determined that the Final Completion date for the Work shall be three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed Bidders are hereby notified that, pursuant to provisions of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Directors of the Orange County Sanitation District adopted the prevailing rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, applicable to the Work to be done for the locality in which the Work is to be performed The Engineer's Estimate for this Project is $331,000. The Orange County Sanitation District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive or not to waive any or all irregularities. Bid Valid 120 Calendar Days All communications concerning this IFB must be in writing. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OC SAN until 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), September 7, 2023.
