Description

A. The Bid lists each item of the Project for which payment will be made. No payment will be made for any items other than those listed in the Bid. B. Required items of work and incidentals necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work which are not specifically listed in the Bid, and which are not specified in this Section to be measured or to be included in one of the items listed in the Bid, shall be considered as incidental to the work. All costs thereof, including Contractor's overhead costs and profit, shall be considered as included in the lump sum or unit prices bid for the various Bid items. The Contractor shall prepare the Bid accordingly. C. Work includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, tools and materials, which are not furnished by the Owner and performing all operations required to complete the work satisfactorily in place as specified and as indicated on the Drawings. A. The Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials necessary for cleaning, videoing, and lining sanitary sewers using the Cured-In-Place Pipe method and manhole rehabilitation. There is approximately 11,170 linear feet of 8-inch and 10- inch sewer lines that need to be lined using the Cured-In-Place Pipe method, and approximately 308 VF of manhole that needs Level C manhole rehabilitation. B. Certain sewer segments have been identified as requiring rehabilitation or replacement. Concurrent with the Project, additional sewer segments are being evaluated by the Owner as to their need for rehabilitation or replacement. Additional sewer segments may be investigated as part of the scope of this Project to determine the need for rehabilitation or replacement. At the Owner's discretion, sewer segments identified during the course of the Project may be added to this Contract by Change Order in order to complete this phase of the Owner's Sewer System Rehabilitation Program. The Owner may defer some or all work not already included in this Contract into the other Phases of the Owner's Sewer System Rehabilitation Program either in this Contract or other contracts. C. All work described above shall be performed as shown on the Drawings and as specified. A. The Contractor shall provide transportation of all equipment, materials and products furnished under these Contract Documents to the work site. In addition, the Contractor shall provide preparation for shipment, loading, unloading, handling and preparation for installation and all other work and incidental items necessary or convenient to the Contractor for the satisfactory prosecution and completion of the work. B. All equipment, materials and products damaged during transportation or handling shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner prior to being incorporated into the work. The Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials necessary for cleaning, videoing, and lining sanitary sewers using the Cured-In-Place Pipe method and manhole rehabilitation. There is approximately 11,170 linear feet of 8-inch and 10-inch sewer lines that need to be lined using the Cured-In-Place Pipe method, and approximately 308 VF of manhole that needs Level C manhole rehabilitation. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
