RFQ Construction Manager at Risk - Dakota Building Addition and Remodeling

Construction Manager at Risk services for Preconstruction Design Service and Construction of an addition for program space, and remodeling of the 96 bed Minimum Security Housing Unit, comprising the Dakota Building at MCF-Faribault in Faribault, Minnesota. - Demolition of a 3,249+/- GSF two story brick building, to include a new utility tunnel in the basement to preserve existing utilities. - Construction of a new 4,383+/- GSF building addition - Renovation of the existing 19,438+/- GSF Dakota Building, to including, but not limited to, interior finishes, window replacement, new roof, tuckpointing, misc. repair. Also included is work in the basement to eliminate wet conditions/mold/etc. Asphalt replacement is also included at the entry drive and staff parking. - The project shall be phased to provide continuous operation of the facility, possibly starting with the construction of new utility tunnel(s) and/or routing through a new building addition. It is anticipated that the renovation of existing portions to remain will also be phased as available for occupancy. Deadline for Questions 3:00pm, Thursday, April 13, 2023
