Description | The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office, is soliciting bids to replace the Visitor Center Roof System at Pea Ridge National Military Park, Garfield, AR. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to: - Replace the existing Composite "Cedur" Shake shingle roof and associated components with a standing seam metal roof on the Visitor Center at the Pea Ridge National Military Park, located at 15930 National Park Drive, Garfield, AR 72732. Contractor will remove and dispose of existing composite roof and provide and install new standing seam metal roof and associated components in accordance with the project documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6223B0004 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: The National Park Service intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) that will result in a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early July 2023 with performance to begin in mid-July 2023. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Benton County, AR will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238160 (Roofing Contractors), and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. |
