Yellow Creek School Center HVAC Renovation Rebid

The Work consists of the replacement of the existing HVAC system to include demolition of the existing lay-in ceilings to provide new lay-in ceilings throughout the building, with the installation of new access closets with permanent ladders to the Attic Space within the main classroom wing. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). If bids are mailed, address to: a. Mr. Steve Silcox Director of Finance & Facilities 211 Virginia Avenue Pineville, Kentucky 40977 Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bids not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The bond shall cover the entire base bid cost and any accepted alternates. Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing wage rates for Bell County, Kentucky will apply to this project.
