Description

To provide elevator and wheelchair preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing. Mechanics shall be Massachusetts licensed elevator mechanics, licensed in accordance with 524 CMR 5.00: Elevator Contractors. Elevator and wheelchair evaluations, maintenance, and repairs according to the American National Safety Code for Elevators and Dumbwaiters (ANSI) A17.1 and Inspector's Manual (ANSI) A17.2. and ASME Q.E.I. (Qualified Elevator Inspector ) standards. The inspections, testing and repairs to ensure that the elevators and wheelchair lifts are in good working order and safe for public and employee use.
