Description | construction of HWY 67 to HWY 51 Arkadelphia Bypass Water and Sewer Relocations The project generally consists of the construction of water and sewer relocations related to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) Project No. 070442 including new water lines, water services, gravity sewer lines, sewer services, manholes, pump station, and installation of owner procured equipment together with incidental and ancillary work. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders appearing in the Contract Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidders must be licensed contractors qualified for business in the State of Arkansas before submitting a bid on this work. The work included in this Contract consists of the furnishing of all tools, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to fully construct to the satisfaction of the Owner the HWY 67 to HWY 51 Arkadelphia Bypass Water and Sewer Relocations together with all incidental and ancillary work as shown on the Drawings. Installation is to be complete and inclusive of materials, equipment, pipe, valves, fittings, fire hydrants, appurtenances, excavation, trenching, bedding material, backfill material, concrete, manholes, connection to existing line(s), acceptance testing, disinfection, and quality control, traffic control, trench safety, and restoration of streets and property. |
