Description

The renovation of DVRC 3 Fl. will include demolishing the existing individual labs to create flexible open bench research labs with shared core facilities. The scope of work includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. Program elements to include: 1.Flexible, open research labs with mobile benches and overhead services; 2.Separate rooms for tissue culture, short term animal maintenance, surgeries, microscopy and a dark room; 3.Lab utilities including deionized water, methane, vacuum, air and N2 lines with psi force adequate for mass spectrometry; 4.Approximately ten fume hoods; 5.Offices, computational space, breakroom, breakout space and conference space; 6.Restrooms; 7.Server room with stand-alone cooling. Specific research/researchers have not been identified. Health Sciences will provide research representatives during the design process to guide the selected Respondent’s team.
