Description

The City of Sedro-Woolley is soliciting bids under the city's Small Works Roster utilizing MRSC Rosters for the construction of a new 415 square foot public restroom at Memorial Park Located at 703 Pacific Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 The work consists of construction of the restroom as shown in the attached drawing, Exhibit A and shall include site prep. Specifications for foundation, framing, plumbing, insulation, toilet accessories, ADA hardware, fixtures, gutters, roofing, and FRP wall coverings are shown in Exhibit A. Bids to also include installation of 2 city supplied steel doors with frames, and to supply and install 1 new steel door. Utilities are stubbed at the building foundation and include electrical, water, and sewer. Utility stubs are stubbed up no more than 2' feet from the footings. Contractor shall connect new building to the sewer and water utilities. An electrical stub is also existing, but there is no electrical work included in this contract. The City of Sedro-Woolley will provide the building permit for this project. Building paint and metal colors are to be determined. City will provide deadbolts for the doors, contractor to install. Door Specification: 1. Pre-Primed, Steel Door, steel frame, Left Hand Out-swing, machined for mortise lock hardware. Rough opening 37 3/4 " x 84" The Lump Sum bid shall in include all materials, equipment, and labor from all trades necessary to complete the work. *Engineers Estimate Range for the work is $80,000 to $100,000 *City requires the restroom to be constructed and final inspections approved prior to June 15th , 2023, as a condition of bid award. Bidders must have received training on the requirements related to public works and prevailing wage under RCW chapters 39.04.350 and 39.12. Interested contractors are to submit, have completed, and registered prior to bid opening: o Bid Proposal Form utilizing the form provided. o A Statement of Bidder's Qualifications including references utilizing the form provided. o Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes utilizing the form provided. o Must have received training related to the public works and prevailing wage requirement or be exempt as verified by WA Labor and Industries (RCW 39.04.350(1)(f)). o Registered on the City of Sedro-Woolley's Small Works Roster utilizing MRSC Rosters The City of Sedro-Woolley reserves the right, without any liability on our part, to accept a proposal of the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, revise or cancel the work to be performed, or do the work otherwise, if the best interest of the City is served thereby.
