Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as existing road surface conditions, drainage patterns and other working conditions. The personnel that operate out of this building are frequently in the field; please leave a message and your call will be returned. The project area is open to public travel. We recommend contacting Mrs. Isett or Mr. Balliet to get directions and status of road conditions before going to the site. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
