St. Stanislaus Park Paving Improvements Project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, oversight and permits required to install new 10' high chain link fence fabric and gates, tack coat and asphalt wearing course for pickle ball courts, bleacher area, and parking lot, crushed stone, base course, and wearing course for a walking trail and all other related site work The check for the bidding documents should be made payable to Barry Isett & Associates, Inc.Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, or a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. Questions may be submitted, in writing, or by email to William Leitner via email wleitner@barryisett.com at the engineers office on or before 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 21st. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, plainly marked on the outside "St. Stanislaus Park Paving Improvements Project" and mailed or delivered the City of Hazleton before the date and time specified above The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days. Install (12) pickleball net post sleeves in basketball court area. Contractor shall patch fence post areas with wearing course. Note: Installation of posts, and nets to be done by others. 2. Remove existing chain link fence fabric and install of 10' chain link fence fabric around the entire basketball court along with bottom rails and (2) 4' single leaf gates, and (1) 8' double leaf gate. Note: Fence poles and foundations are existing. 3. Installation of a tack coat and a wearing course on the existing court surface, bleacher area, and parking lot. 4. Installation and compaction of crushed 2A stone, base course paving, and wearing course paving for a asphalt walkway. 5. Restore all lawn areas damaged by construction operations with 6" of topsoil, straw, and grass seeding.
