| Description | DESCRIPTION A. This project will consist of performing adjustments and replacements of components (pressure gauges – 22 total) to the residential fire sprinkler system for 17 park housing units throughout Lake Mead National Recreation Area (NRA) The contractor that is conducting the work will be responsible to re-certified each system after the new pressure gauges are installed by a license contractor to ensure it meets all applicable National Fire Protection (NFPA) standards to code and regulations, including but not limited to NFPA 13R-Standard for Installation of Sprinkler Systems in Low Rise Residential Occupancies, NFPA 13D- Standard for Installing Sprinkler Systems in One and Two Family Dwellings, and NFPA 25-Inspecting, Testing and Maintenance of Sprinkler Systems. The contractor will need to install a record tag to each system to the company name, license number, technician name, and date of inspection that is required.
