Description | The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the Count y so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty. The work in general consists of replacing the existing Spring Valley Road Bridge over Little Dry Creek with a new reinforced concrete bridge, placing aggregate base, placing hot mix asphalt, installing guardrail, placing rock slope protection, and traffic striping. Question Submission Deadline:May 4, 2023, 2:00pm Inquiries may be submitted in writing to Director of Public Works, at 915 8th Street, Suite 125, Marysville, CA 95901 or by e-mail at yubacountyprojects@co.yuba.ca.us. Question Response Deadline:May 8, 2023, 2:00pm Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. Please scan and upload a copy of your bid bond/cashier's check. Bidder must also MAIL bid guarantee with a postmarked date no later than May 11th, 2023 to Department of Public Works, Suite 125, 915 8th Street, Marysville, California 95901. Please have the Bidder Name, Contract Title ("Spring Valley Road Over Little Dry Creek Bridge Replacement Project"), and Contract Number ("2023-6018") listed clearly on the outside of the envelope. *Response required The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution.
