Exterior Emergency Exit Door Replacement - Taylorville Library

The Emergency Exit Door Replacement project includes the replacement and installation of emergency exit doors throughout the building. This includes the emergency exit doors in the Community Room, the Southwest exit, the middle West exit, the Northeast exit, and the Northwest double door exit. The installation includes fitting a new hollow metal frame into the existing frame and the fitting of hardware such as hinges, rim exit devices, door sweeps, weather-strips, and thresholds. The door frame will be patched and caulked and painted to match the other exits and the building. The Taylorville Public Library and the Taylorville Library Board are soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the Exterior Emergency Exit Door Replacement Project, which includes the installation at the Taylorville Library, 121 West Vine Street, Taylorville, Illinois 62568. The General Scope of Work for the project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of all emergency exit doors at the Library. The Taylorville Library and the Library Board have the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive irregularities in the proposals and/or awarding process.
