Placement of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) and Manhole Rehabilitation

This is an annual program to reline damaged, cracked, and broken portions of sewer mainlines city-wide. The project will establish an ongoing repair program to address identified locations of sewer mainline ranging from 6" to 18" in diameter, for relining, and the rehabilitation of selected sewer manholes. This program is not to exceed $300,000. All questions and/or contacts with City staff/representative regarding this RFP are to be directed to the following: Jerry Mestas Public Works Supervisor Phone: 714-990-7629 Email: jerryme@cityofbrea.net GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: CONTRACTOR shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment for and do the work for the Placement of Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) and Manhole Rehabilitation throughout the City of Brea. Said work to be performed in accordance with specifications and standards of the "Greenbook", Part 5, Pipeline Rehabilitation, and in accordance with bid prices hereinafter mentioned and in accordance with the instruction of the Director of Public Works for a period commencing 05/01/23 through 04/30/24. The prices quoted with the bid shall be in effect until expiration of the agreement on the date stated herein. The City and CONTRACTOR shall have the option of extending the term of the agreement, by mutual consent of the parties, four (4) times for periods of one year each. Should the agreement be extended, the contract prices shall be on the Extension of Term subsection hereof.
