| Description | Contract for the hazardous materials testing work. The selected consultant will first inventory and test (Phase One) and then oversee the successful mitigation (Phase Two) of asbestos and lead, as well as other hazardous materials, in order to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of North Carolina environmental requirements, prior to demolition and clearance activities. Phase Two will also include conducting a final inspection of sites from which hazardous materials were mitigated. The selected consultant will also be available to the Robeson County to provide various technical assistance as it relates to the buyout program and environmental compliance as described within. | ||
