Description

This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on State Route 59 from Route 303 to Route 9W in the Towns of Clarkstown and Orangetown and the Village of Nyack in Rockland County. The work will primarily consist of milling and filling the roadway and resurfacing with warm-mix asphalt to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. A new segment of sidewalk will be constructed along Route 59 at West Broadway. Additionally, existing curb ramps will be reconstructed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act specifications where applicable on Route 59
