| Description | Construct improvements on Sr 224 in and near West Richland to add capacity and improve traffic operations. Proposed improvements include adding vehicle and bicycle lanes, pedestrian facilities and intersection improvements such as roundabouts. As of January 31, 2023, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024.
