Owens Corning MSA - Natural Gas

The work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and as shown on the DRAWINGS. All Work associated with this Project shall be in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, County and City requirements. The Owens Corning MSA Project will be limited to an intermediate-pressure hot tie in, steel pipeline construction, and constructing a new metering and regulation station. The City of Nephi (City) intends to hot tap an existing high-pressure natural gas steel line, install approximately 250 feet of 4-inch steel pipe from the hot tie-in to a new metering and regulation station East of Owens Corning in Nephi, Utah. A separate service line of approximately 100 feet of 4-inch low pressure steel will run from the new metering and regulation station to a new connection flange located above ground on the East outside wall of Owens Corning. The old meter set and service line will be removed/abandoned. The high-pressure line and station will operate with a Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure of 720 psig and an operating pressure of approximately 320 psig.
