Bell and Lola Parks Habitat Restoration Project

location : Bell Creek Park in Redford Township, Michigan and Lola Valley Park in Redford, Michigan A.Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for habitat improvements at Bell Creek Park and Lola Valley Park including removal of trees and vegetation; invasive species treatment and follow-up treatment; establishment of access and staging; excavation and grading; revegetation; protection of planted areas; restoration of the project site; vegetation maintenance and all other work required as presented in contract documents. B. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for amenity improvements at Lola Valley Park including establishment of access and staging; excavation and grading; revegetation; protection of planted areas; restoration of the project site; vegetation maintenance and all other work required as presented in contract documents. C. All work shall be in accordance with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Environment (EGLE) permits issued for this project. D. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following items. 1. Mobilization 2. Audio-visual recording 3. Acquire a soil erosion and control permit from the local authority 4. Acquire any other permits required for the project. 5. Development and Implementation of a Work Plan 6. Development and Implementation of the following additional Technical Work Plans: 1. Health and Safety Plan 2. Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan 3. Traffic Control Plan 4. Invasive Species Treatment Plan 5. Revegetation Plan 7. Establish and maintain vertical and horizontal controls and construction staking to control lines and grades 8. Protection of existing trees to remain 9. Clearing and grubbing of trees and brush with off-site disposal 10. Establish temporary construction access 11. Establish staging areas 12. Soil Erosion and Sediment Control 13. Provide construction fencing and signage 14. Protection of existing structures including utilities 15. Turf removal 16. Excavation and grading 17. Installation of access routes 18. Invasive species treatment 19. Revegetation 20. Protection of planted areas 21. Site restoration 22. Maintenance 23. Demobilization and closeout 24. All other items required to complete work as shown in the contract documents
