RFP - Biomonitoring Services, Stewardship July 2021

The majority of the on-call services will be to support the Park District's Routine Maintenance Program. The Park District conducts routine maintenance activities in streams, catch basins, springs, seeps, ponds, lakes, beaches, tidal marshes and shoreline levees throughout Alameda and Contra Costa County. Examples of typical routine maintenance activities include replacement or upgrade of culverts, construction of new head and tail walls, installation of energy dissipaters, installation and maintenance of stream ford crossings, vegetation and debris removal from streams, bank stabilization, installation and maintenance of clear span bridges, and routine dredging of silt basins and ponds. The Park District's program also includes habitat restoration and compensatory mitigation projects.
