2023 Road Sealing Project

Questions must be submitted electronically by March 8, 2023 before 4:00 pm. All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid: or reject any and all of the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. LOCATION OF WORK: 1. Heather - (2,118 SY) 2. HillCroft - (3,308 SY) 3. Bent- (2.913 SY} 4. Brae Bourn -(8,087 SY) 5. Jefferson - {8,075 SY) Altemaie 1 Rhoades Dr. - (6,156 SY} DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1.Single Seal Coat and Double Seal Coat followed by sweeping ard tne application cia Type II Slurry Seal. A2 year maintenance bond will he required (100% 1s% year, 50% 2nd year) covering any and all workmanship or material related detects, as determined by the municipality. Payment will not de approved before final inspection with municipality, any and all defects must be corrected tc the satisfaction of the municipality prior to any portion cf payment being released.
