Replacement of County Road 189 Bridge over Grunley Creek

The projects limits extend approximately 100 ft north and south of the County Road 189 over Grunley Creek Bridge. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: removal of the existing concrete substructure and jack arch structure, replacement with a steel-multi girder superstructure with composite integral concrete wearing surface and concrete substructure, founded on bed rock. Heavy stone fill will be placed in the vicinity of the wingwalls and along Grunley Creek. Removal and replacement of guide railing within the project limits. There will be full-depth pavement reconstruction within the limits of the project. The proposed work will be performed while traffic is maintained via an offsite detour.
