Deep Well 2 Repairs

Repairs for one of the deep wells located near the Slade Avenue Facility, near the intersection of North Grove Avenue and Slade Avenue, near the Fox River. This work includes investigation of existing equipment, removal and disposal of the existing column piping, removal and disposal of the existing column check valves, removal and decommissioning of the existing pump motor, removal and disposal of existing pump, removal and disposal of existing transformer and motor control center, televising existing well, installing new motor, new pump, new column piping, new column check valves, new pump electrical cable, new transformer and new motor control center; procurement and storage of an additional spare motor; performing the necessary installation including ancillary items and equipment; and the subsequent testing of the equipment. The location of deep well 2 is the City of Elgin’s Slade Avenue Facility, near the intersection of N. Grove Avenue and Slade Avenue, near the Fox River. Bid Questions due July 30, 2020 at 3:00 PM.
