Description | 1. Demo one (1) existing AC system, including disconnections. Retain Freon, Condenser, and cartridge unit for Owner to repurpose for use in, Unit will be delivered to the city building and maintenance storage building; 2. Provide submittal information to Engineer for new Liebert, matching the drawings specifications and details prepared by Baird, Hampton, and Brown, dated November 2018 attached as part of this Invitation for Bid, Solicitation 2018-X-XX; Submittal is required to be provided to Baird, Hampton & Brown, within three (3) days of written notice to proceed by Owner, to contract awarded Vendor; 3. Order/purchase new Liebert System, within 48-hours of receiving approved submittal from Baird, Hampton, Brown; 4. Apply for and obtain City of Allen permit, including all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work no less than 30-days PRIOR TO Liebert ship date. Permit will be free of charge to bid awarded Contractor; 5. Provide turn-key installation of new system, including placement, connections to all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, piping, start-up and testing; 6. Call for and obtain ALL required City inspections for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work associated with this Project. Bid awarded contractor is to familiarize himself with the City automated inspection system for scheduling inspections. Failure to learn the system is not grounds for asking City representatives to schedule inspections for you; 7. City will require contractor to schedule and obtain factory representative inspection and written sign-off of start-up and testing before accepting the project; 8. Obtain written acceptance of the Project from Baird, Hampton, & Brown Engineer; 9. Provide Owner with all factory warranties, contractor's warranties; and final 2-year Maintenance Bond; 10. Walk through operations with City Maintenance Team then provide City with all operations and maintenance manuals and information; Include proposed preventive maintenance schedule for City planning; 11. Coordinate system installation with City contracted energy management controls Vendor to insure smooth tie-in and start-up of controls. 12. Provide any required corrections/adjustments, as a result of an independent 3rd party chilled water balance, within three (3) business days of report distribution. The City of Allen will contract for the water balance report, after Contractor has completed the new system installation. 13. Server Room must maintain operation during majority of the project. Any shutdown must be approved by the city project manager in writing and scheduled 21 days ahead of time. 14. Contractor will provide sufficient cooling units as required by Baird, Hampton, and Brown to maintain server function and protect equipment throughout the process. | ||
