Description

Carter Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Equipment Building The City of College Station is seeking a construction company with quality experience in site preparation, construction of pre-engineered steel metal building, construction of an enclosed vehicle wash rack with drainage system, concrete flat work, drainage improvements, and associated infrastructure. This project includes the construction of a3-sided pre-engineered metal building with an adjacent enclosed vehicle wash rack with drainage system at the Carter Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2200 N. Forest Pkwy. The City has established $850,000.00 as the estimated construction budget for all the Work including alternates as described in the Drawings, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by the A/E. Questions and inquiries about this RFP should be submitted in writing via the Q&A feature available through the Brazos Valley e-Marketplace Bidding System The City has determined that 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion (and additional 30 to Final Completion) should be sufficient time for performing all work Payment greater than prevailing wage rate as listed within this document not prohibited per Texas Government Code, Chapter 2258, Prevailing Wage Rates, Subchapter A. General Provisions. The Contractor shall secure and pay for all necessary permits and licenses, governmental fees, and inspections necessary for the proper execution and completion of the Work Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals by reason of this request. The City reserves the right to consider historical information and facts, whether gained from the proposal, references, or any other source, in the evaluation process C0008-0037-00 Statement of Work: Removal of asphalt, removal of concrete, subgrade preparation and construction of concrete pavement. Construction to electrical and instrumentation components. Construction of fiber and illumination. Construction of non-potable waterline improvements. Construction of a vehicle wash rack equipment, with oil water separator and necessary sanitary sewer improvements. Coordination with City of College Station IT department. Coordination with City of College Station Water/Wastewater department. Coordination with A1 Pump, Inc for Fuel Island Perform work without interrupting other operations at treatment plant. Contractor shall coordinate all work, inspections, and approvals with the City of College Station. Project shall comply with the United States Occupational Safety & Health Administration regulations. Methods & Means of construction shall be compliant with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. This includes obtaining all necessary permits and inspections. Contractor to adhere to City of College Station construction administration procedures. Maintain and submit all project records such as record drawings, project manuals, and warranties for approval by the City of College Station.
