Asphalt Pavement Improvements

The work includes asphalt milling, leveling and paving of named streets, full depth reclamation, removing and replacing asphalt berms, tack oat emulsion, adjustment of catch basins, manholes, gas and water valve covers, pavement markings, loam & seed and necessary traffic controls. All work must be completed within 90 days of notice to proceed. It is expected that roads included in the Asphalt Pavement Improvements will be paved during the Spring/Summer of 2023. BID SECURITY in the form of bid bond, certified check, Treasurers Check or Cashier's Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount must accompany each Bid. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond within 10 days of Notice of Award. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities in a bid, to make awards to separate bidders, to make awards to more than one bidder or to accept that bid or bids. which in the judgment of the awarding authority is in the best interest of the Town.
